Privacy Notice

Livex Software (Pty) Ltd ("Livex") is the operator of Livex Hub. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you sign up and use Livex Hub, why we collect it, and how it's handled, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect, and why

We only collect what's needed to set up and run your workspace:

Your name - to identify you as the workspace owner and personalise the experience.
Company name and accent colour - to set up and brand your workspace. Accent colour is a cosmetic choice, not personal information.
Your role (e.g. CEO, Engineering) - optional and skippable; used only to tailor product recommendations during setup.
The products and add-ons you choose - to activate the right subscriptions for your workspace.
Teammates' email addresses, if you invite them - used only to send that invitation and link their account to your workspace once accepted.

We don't ask for more than this to create your account. Where we keep records of how people move through sign-up (for improving the product), those records are kept in a form that can't identify you individually - for example, invite counts rather than the invited email addresses themselves.

Your account credentials

Livex Hub never stores your password, passkeys, or other login credentials. All authentication is handled by LivexID, Livex's shared identity service - Livex Hub only receives confirmation that you're signed in, plus your name, role, and which company (workspace) you belong to.

Who can see your information

Your workspace data is isolated to your company. People outside your company - including staff at other Livex customers - cannot see it. Within your company, your workspace owner can see company-level information (team members, subscriptions, billing); individual usage details are visible to you and, in aggregate, to your owner.

How long we keep it

Our data retention and deletion schedule is still being finalised, and we won't handle personal information beyond what's described above until it is. When it's confirmed, this section will state exactly how long each type of information is kept and how to request deletion.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact your workspace owner (for company-managed data) or reach out to us directly using the details below.
